Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 set to get Siri Recap and Live Rewind later this year on watchOS 27

Two Audio Intelligence features — summarizing conversations with Apple Intelligence, and rewinding the last 15 seconds with a double press of the Digital Crown
Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are set to receive 2 new features later this year — Siri Recap and Live Rewind — part of the Audio Intelligence system in watchOS 27.
Siri Recap
This feature runs in the background throughout the day, recording surrounding conversations and summarizing key content via Apple Intelligence (Apple's AI system), letting users review it later. Generated summaries are automatically deleted after 7 days unless the user chooses to save them. Apple has published an in-depth white paper on this feature's privacy protections.
Live Rewind
This lets users replay what was just said in the last 15 seconds, simply by pressing the Digital Crown (the side dial on Apple Watch) twice. The system displays the text on screen, and users can ask Siri follow-up questions about that content or save it directly to the Siri app. While the benefit for average users may not be obvious yet, it's worth watching for its accessibility potential for users with specific needs.
