Sanrio Characters Half Marathon: ASEAN's first Sanrio-themed run, Sept 27 at One Bangkok

One Bangkok, together with Young Suns Company, is holding the Sanrio Characters Half Marathon, which it describes as the first Sanrio character-themed run in Southeast Asia, set for Saturday, September 27, 2026, from 02:00–09:30, at One Bangkok Park on Wireless Road, Lumpini subdistrict. Runners can choose from 6 distances: 1.7, 3.5, 7, 10, 17 and 21 kilometers, with the 17km distance being run for the first time in Thailand.

Registration splits into 3 packages: FUN RACE for the 1.7–10km distances, MAJOR RACE for the 17km and 21km distances, and CHAMPION RACE covering every distance, which also includes a Champion Jacket worth 1,980 baht. Every package includes a medal, a finisher towel, Sanrio stickers, a bib number, and a race shirt designed per character team, plus accident insurance for all participants.

Participants can choose a character team from Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Keroppi, Cinnamoroll and Badtz-Maru. The event also sells limited-edition merchandise available only on-site. Registration opened in July 2026, with early access for One Bangkok and Young Suns members on July 6 and general registration on July 9, via www.youngsons.com.
