MICHELIN Keys 2026: Thailand earns Keys for 71 hotels, Capella Bangkok moves up to three Keys

Six hotels hold three Keys, 22 hold two Keys and 43 hold one Key; 15 hotels are new entrants and five moved up a tier

The MICHELIN Guide announced its 2026 MICHELIN Keys on September 18, with Thailand earning Keys for a total of 71 hotels and resorts — 6 with three Keys, 22 with two Keys, and 43 with one Key. Globally, 2,832 hotels across 79 countries now hold Keys, with 470 new entrants this year and over 80 upgraded; Thailand specifically saw 15 new entrants and 5 upgrades.

Three Keys (6 properties)

The "exceptional and distinctive stay" tier includes Capella Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Bangkok, and The Siam in Bangkok; Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai in Chiang Mai; Phulay Bay (A Ritz-Carlton Reserve) in Krabi; and Amanpuri in Phuket.

Capella Bangkok was the only hotel upgraded to three Keys this year. Located on the east bank of the Chao Phraya River and opened in 2020, it blends resort-style tranquility with easy access to the old town, featuring lush gardens, a riverside pool, dining and a spa.

Two Keys (22 properties)

The "exceptional stay" tier includes:

  • Bangkok: Aman Nai Lert Bangkok, Dusit Thani Bangkok, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok at Chao Phraya River, Park Hyatt Bangkok, Rosewood Bangkok, The Sukhothai Bangkok
