Dusit highlights its full-circle Michelin success — from hotels to restaurants to chefs it trained itself

In 2025, three hotels earned Michelin Keys, Cannubi by Umberto Bombana earned one star, and several Le Cordon Bleu Dusit alumni have gone on to win Michelin stars of their own

Dusit International is highlighting Michelin success spanning its entire ecosystem — hotels, restaurants and educational institutions. In 2025, three of its hotels earned Michelin Keys, the distinction marking exceptional accommodation: Dusit Thani Bangkok, Dusit Thani Kyoto, and Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu.

On the restaurant side, Cannubi by Umberto Bombana at Dusit Thani Bangkok earned one Michelin star, becoming the first Italian restaurant in Thailand to win the honor, while success continues through alumni of Dusit's affiliated institutions, including Dusit Thani College, Le Cordon Bleu Dusit, and The Food School Bangkok.

Chefs trained at these institutions who've gone on to win Michelin recognition include Chef Pichaya Soontornyanakij (POTONG, one Michelin star, named The World's Best Female Chef 2025) and Chef John Chantarasak (AngloThai in London, one star), both graduates of Le Cordon Bleu Dusit, alongside several more chefs who've earned stars and Bib Gourmand recognition. Chanin Donavanik, Group CEO of Dusit International, said this success reflects an approach built on care, craft and consistency.
