Hyundai launches the new STARIA Hybrid, its first 11-seat hybrid van in Thailand, starting at 2.099 million baht

242 horsepower, dual power sliding doors, a 12.3-inch display, BOSE audio, financing from 1.69% interest, and an 8-year battery warranty
Bangkok, September 21, 2026 — Hyundai Mobility (Thailand) Co., Ltd. launched The new STARIA Hybrid, an 11-seat hybrid MPV, a first and currently the only one of its kind in Thailand, aimed at the "Sandwich Generation" — family breadwinners who have to carry every responsibility in one vehicle.
Under the slogan "11-Seater Hybrid. Ready for Every Mission," Hyundai positions the STARIA Hybrid as a vehicle ready to keep pace with the life of someone looking after everyone at home, building on Hyundai's more than 30 years in the Thai MPV market, from the Hyundai H-1 through to the Hyundai STARIA Diesel.
Cabin and technology
It seats up to 11 passengers, with Premium Comfort Seats and newly designed headrests for the 2nd and 3rd rows. It features Smart Power Sliding Doors on both sides, 4 ISOFIX child-seat anchor points, separate front and rear climate control zones, and 7 USB Type-C charging ports throughout the cabin.
The STARIA Hybrid comes with Hyundai Bluelink, a vehicle connectivity system via mobile app that allows remote engine start with air conditioning, door lock/unlock, and finding the car's parked location. It has a 12.3-inch infotainment screen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with a BOSE sound system across 12 speakers.
Powertrain and safety
The Turbo Hybrid system delivers up to 242 horsepower combined, with up to 367 Nm of torque, and city fuel efficiency of 17.2 km/liter under NEDC standards. It includes e-Motion Drive, which uses electric motors to control the vehicle's movement via e-Ride, e-Handling, e-EHA, and e-Traction, reducing vibration and body roll, further supported by Hyundai SmartSense, a suite of 15 smart driver-assistance and safety systems, including a Surround View Monitor and all-around sensors.
Pricing and campaign
The STARIA Hybrid comes in 2 trims: Modern at 2,099,000 baht and Premium at 2,399,000 baht, in Creamy White and Abyss Black Pearl body colors, plus a new color, Galaxy Maroon Pearl, exclusive to the Premium trim. Customers can test-drive it at Hyundai showrooms nationwide, with the STARIA Hybrid Privilege Package campaign offering interest rates starting at 1.69%, 1 year of first-class insurance and compulsory motor insurance, Hyundai Smart Care covering labor and parts for 5 years or 50,000 km, a 5-year or 100,000 km vehicle quality warranty (extendable up to 7 years or 150,000 km), an 8-year or 160,000 km high-voltage battery warranty, and 5 years of roadside assistance. Hyundai Family customers get an additional 20,000 baht discount when booking and taking delivery within the specified period.
