Canon tops Thailand's wide-format printer market with a 43% share in the first half of 2026

IDC data shows Canon ranking No. 1 across all three segments — Graphic Arts, CAD and Poster — led by the imagePROGRAF TC-21 and GP-526S models
Canon Marketing (Thailand) set a new record in Thailand's wide-format printer market with a 43% share in the first half of 2026, according to International Data Corporation (IDC) data, ranking No. 1 across all 3 segments simultaneously: 43% overall market share, 42% in Graphic Arts, and 39% in CAD/Poster.
This builds on 2024, when Canon first ranked No. 1 across all three segments with a 39% share. The flagship imagePROGRAF TC-21 and GP-526S models drove the growth, across CAD work, design firms, and graphics businesses alike. The company credits its success to water-resistant ink technology, high-resolution print heads, and workflow management software that helps customers control both cost and quality.
Netinrin Chanchart, Senior Director of the Consumer Imaging Information product group at Canon Marketing (Thailand), said what the company offers isn't just a printer, but a complete printing solution.
