TECNO announces a rebrand from a value-focused gaming smartphone maker to a lifestyle and fashion brand, using the POVA 8 Series as its flagship with large ads across MRT stations
TECNO announced a major brand repositioning for 2026, shifting from its past image as an affordable, high-spec, gaming-focused smartphone brand toward becoming a lifestyle and fashion smartphone brand, with the POVA 8 Series representing this new direction.
The model keeps the POVA series' core identity but adds a more modern design and a D.I.Y. Matrix Display on the back that users can customize themselves, backed by a campaign on large billboards at MRT stations.
