Dusit accelerates ASAI brand expansion in Thailand, signs lifestyle hotels in Hat Yai and Phuket

ASAI Hat Yai (116 rooms) opens in 2027 and ASAI Patong Phuket (about 85 rooms) opens in 2028, building on a portfolio of 50 hotels across 19 countries
Dusit International has announced management agreements for two ASAI Hotels lifestyle properties in southern Thailand — ASAI Hat Yai and ASAI Patong Phuket — set to open in 2027 and 2028 respectively, reflecting the company's strategy of targeting destinations with distinctive culture, community and local food to meet modern travelers seeking accommodation that connects them to the real city.
ASAI Hat Yai sits on Samchai Road in the heart of Hat Yai, the economic and tourism hub of southern Thailand known for its Thai-Chinese heritage and street food. The 116-room hotel caters to solo travelers, couples, families and groups of friends, with an all-day dining room, a cafe and bar, co-working space, meeting rooms and a fitness center, positioned as a meeting point connecting guests with locals.
ASAI Patong Phuket will bring the ASAI concept to Phuket, located in the heart of Patong, 5 minutes from Patong Beach and about an hour from Phuket Airport, with around 85 rooms, a cafe, Eat/Work/Play-concept communal spaces, a rooftop pool and a fitness center. Dusit currently operates 50 hotels and resorts across 19 countries, with over 50 more in development.
